A special Mime Theatre Workshop was held at Banchhaya Village, offering a unique and joyful learning experience for local children. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sushanta Das, a national-level eminent mime artist from Kolkata, who brought his art, energy, and inspiration to the village community.

During the workshop, children learned to express emotions, stories, and ideas through body movements and facial expressions—without using words. It encouraged them to explore creativity, confidence, and communication in a fun and interactive way.

This initiative was part of the ongoing efforts to promote art education and cultural exposure among the rural youth. Such programs not only introduce children to new forms of performing arts but also help them develop self-expression, discipline, and teamwork.

The presence of a nationally acclaimed artist like Mr. Das made the event even more meaningful, motivating both students and local artists to look at performing arts as a path of

For Banchhaya Village, which is emerging as a hub of cultural and nature-based tourism, the workshop added yet another layer to its growing artistic environment—connecting education, culture, and community in harmony.
