A 3-day Dairy Development Training under the UTKARSH BANGLA program was successfully completed at Sri Sri Gaushala, Rajabhatkhawa, marking another important step toward rural skill development and self-reliance. The training brought together 27 enthusiastic participants from nearby villages, eager to learn modern dairy practices and explore new livelihood opportunities.

Expert speakers — Dr. Sarikul Islam, Dr. Dadhi Bhusan Barman, Dr. Kousik Barua, and Dr. Suvendu Mandal — shared their deep knowledge on animal health, nutrition, disease management, and entrepreneurship in dairy farming. Through interactive sessions and hands-on learning, participants gained valuable insights into improving milk production, cattle care, and sustainable dairy practices.
The training aimed to empower rural families by providing them with the skills to start or upgrade their dairy-based livelihoods. For many, it opened doors to self-employment and financial independence, aligning with SEWA Journey’s broader mission of community upliftment through skill and sustainability.

Special thanks to the District UTKARSH BANGLA team, Prallad Lama ji, and Kavita Subba for their excellent coordination and management of this meaningful event. Their efforts ensured that every participant left with new confidence and practical knowledge to apply in their daily lives.
