Community Care in Action: Medical Camp at Gangutia Banchhaya Art Village

The Lions Club of Alipurduar Greater recently hosted a remarkable Medical Camp at Gangutia Banchhaya Art Village, bringing much-needed healthcare support to the local community. The camp provided General Physician, Eye, and Dental check-ups, along with the distribution of free medicines to all attending patients.

A heartfelt appreciation goes to the dedicated team behind this initiative — Mr. Arun Bowmick (Secretary), Mr. Santu Sarkar (President), Dr. Atanu Ghosh, Dr. Chandra Deep Mallick, and Dr. Debankur Ray — whose commitment ensured smooth and meaningful service delivery throughout the day.

SEWA Journeys also acknowledges the generous support from Apollo Diagnostic Centre, who offered complimentary Blood Sugar and Cholesterol tests, adding immense value to the health camp.

A special note of gratitude to Mani Lama, Anuradha Lama, Ashok Lama, and the entire Folk Artist team, whose tireless efforts contributed significantly to the camp’s success. Their presence and support created a warm, welcoming environment for everyone involved.
